This is such a good way to use up bits and pieces of yarn left over from other projects.

 I finished an afghan! This first pic is with a black background. The second is with a white background. I thought the difference was interesting.

Now, I need to buy more yarn to start another one. Oh, darn. :)

This is the third granny square from "99 Granny Squares". I never even thought that a square could be another shape. I like it.
