I'm posting individual granny squares on ETSY. This is the light green and the dark green.

I like purple and yellow together.

Three colors.

Now, I'm playing with using more then two colors.

The variegated yarns really add something, don't they?

Corners are a bit rounded, but I'm thinking that it will square up when attached to other squares.

I do like the round ones.

The non-square shapes seem to require a lot of undoing and redoing. I suppose that's how you learn. :)

I had to fuss with this one to get it to lay flat.

My granny number 7.

This one is the negative of last week's granny. For the most part, I did chain stitches where last week's granny had double stitches. There are double stitches here where last week's had chain stitches, except in the corners, where there are triple stitches. I think it will square up better when I attach it to other squares when it is made into a blanket.

I decided to make up a bunch of my own granny squares. Enough of following directions! Maybe I can even piece them together into a blanket.

I decided to make a square granny based on the circle granny from last week. Had to do some figuring and redoing to get it to lie flat.

This is a free hand leaf that I crocheted.

 I crocheted a belt to wear to work. I used 100% nylon crochet thread. Had never used that before. It worked much easier then I expected it to. And I'm hoping the belt lasts longer then the last one. :)

Finished this blanket. Done in three blues, black and white, it's made using just the double crochet stitch. I used the med blue to make a row of single crochet around the entire piece.

I've been experimenting with crocheting on top of crocheting. The top sample is yellow rows on a flat green piece. The lower sample is green crocheted on top of yellow. Interesting.

 After rushing to make a baby blanket in a week for the last baby shower, I decided to make up a few ahead. Here's the first, for someone who's having a boy.

A free form red leaf. I wanted it to be all lopsided. Nature is rarely symmetrical.

I call this "The Red Flat Thing". It's a red flat thing.

Here are some little crocheted flowers. I was just having fun at lunch time.

This is a little flower that I crocheted.

 Here is a baby blanket that I made in a week. I thought I had a month, and then found out differently. Yes, my right hand and wrist are a bit sore, but it's done, so I'm happy.

Here is a close up showing the edge. Mom suggested that I do a single stitch around the edges to keep the corners from curling. I really like the way it adds a bit of polish to the finished project.
