These are some leaves I crocheted using free form crochet. My favorite on is the bottom right, since it's all lopsided.

I crocheted this on my lunch hour. My coworkers kept asking me what it was. My answer: A thing. Free form crochet.

This is a gag gift that I made for a friend. It's actually yellow and black, though it looks white and black. I crochet at work on my lunch hour. A couple friends keep teasing me, asking me to make their wives/girlfriends sexy underwear. Then, one said that I should make him a banana hammock. I'm hoping this stops the teasing. Well, with my luck, it'll only get worse.  LOL

Here is another crocheted flower. This time, when I made the petals, I varied the size. The center petals are very small, and the petals gradually increase in size as they go out to the outer edge. I like this flower the best so far.

Here is "Swirls", a piece I just finished. The teal and purple swirls are free form crochet. When I wasn't sure how to turn them into a wall hanging, my mom suggested using white stretched canvas. I hate sewing and put off sewing the pieces to the canvas for several weeks. When I finally sat down to do it, it was very easy. I think it took all of 10 minutes. If that.

I've been delving into Free Form Crochet. I tried a few flowers. The red and white one is my first attempt. It's 9 inches across, a bit bigger then I was planning. I started with the center of a granny square and added a long string. Then, I crocheted the petals on the string and around the center. Then I added a wire in the base of the petals and shaped it.

The second flower is much smaller. It is 5 inches across. I used baby yarn and a smaller hook. I also didn't do the center round piece. I like it much better. I still have other ideas in my head.

I made a hat for my friend's son to match the booties I made. I modified the hat pattern that I used on previous hats so that it would match the booties.
